Toxicology
Department website:
Toxicology is one of the smaller subjects which takes place during summer semester of 2nd year, with only five classes and two online lectures.
The classes vary in length with classes 1, 3, 5 being 45 minutes and classes 2, 4 being 1 hour 30 minutes. The classes and lectures cover the basics of Toxicology, with some classes going more in-depth into Physiology and Biochemistry, while others do not.
This is a subject that is fairly easy to pass if you pay attention in class and during the lectures, but preparation outside of class is still essential.
There are two written tests during the course, both with 20 multiple choice questions with an allocated time of 20 minutes. You must circle one correct answer on the question sheet
Credit 1 covers material from classes 1 and 2 as well as lectures, while credit 2 focuses on material from classes 3-5.
There is no final exam. Credit received after passing both credits.
