All retail outlets provide SIM cards, but wherever one is purchased, it must be registered in the office first. You need your passport for that.
Some of the mobile operators provide eSIM, which you can get even before you arrive in Poland.
All stores have vouchers to buy and recharge your plan. Some mobile service providers also have their own apps that you can use to recharge each month.
(Campus Wi-Fi)
Funded by the European Union, Eduroam provides wireless access to students, researchers, and university staff worldwide. You can access the Wi-Fi in all the university's buildings, including the hospital.
Steps to access Eduroam:
Go to network settings and select Eduroam when available.
Username is your full "<ID>@student.umb.edu.pl" email address.
Password is the same as for the student email (i.e. to login to Outlook or the Virtual University).
You have to trust the eduroam certificate before you can connect.
You can sign a new agreement at the Białystok Technical University at Wiejska 45 A, room 043.
You need to bring your router and passport.
Office hours: Mon-Fri (8:30am - 3:30pm)
You can pay for the internet in the Białystok Technical University
Please keep in mind that you must pay your monthly subscription fee before the last day of the month before the month of service is given
Payment can be done by bank transfer or cash
You can suspend the internet for a maximum of 3 months without any additional charges. You must send an email (internet@biaman.pl) no later than the last day of the month preceding the month the subscriber will not use the service
During holidays (July-September) the internet is automatically suspended
