Chemistry
The Chemistry course has a duration of one semester and consists of a combination of 5 online lectures, 5 in-person practical classes and 2 online seminars.
During practical classes you will be required to carry out a range of various experiments and write a report on your findings, so familiarize yourself with the experiments you will be carrying out in your upcoming class. You will also need to bring a physical copy of your laboratory experiments to each class. Attendance is mandatory as you will be writing lab tests in each class, therefore you will have to make up for missed classes.
Depending on your professor more emphasis may be put on writing reports, while others may prefer classroom engagement to obtain the 3 points from your experiments, so prepare for both possibilities. In order to give yourself the best chance at getting an exemption it’s important to come well prepared for each lab test.
Short tests consisting of 5 open questions are held at the end of each lab to assess students' knowledge. Students are able to obtain a maximum of 12 points per class, 9 from the written class test and the remaining 3 from engagement while performing experiments.
Ask older students for tips and study material, they might have some helpful documents.

Students are only eligible for exemption if they receive at least 48 points out of total of 60 points, from which they must obtain no less than 5 points in each individual written class test.Format: 30 questions, including multiple choice questions, calculation problems, and open ended questions.
