Immunology
Immunology
Department website:
Immunology is a very interesting and clinically relevant subject that introduces you to how the immune system works. It is definitely worth learning the material properly, as many topics will come up again in other subjects and clinical courses.
The course consists of 10 online lectures, 5 in-person classes and 5 seminars. After each seminar there is a short online test and during the classes a lot of questions will be asked, so it is important to keep up with the material throughout the semester rather than leaving everything until the credits.
There are two credits during the semester. The professor usually provides Powerpoint presentations and if you keep up with the material regularly, the credits should be quite manageable.
It is also worth talking to students from previous years and asking them for any study materials or tips they found useful.
There are two credits during the semester, both consisting only of multiple-choice questions. The credits cover the material from the classes and the lectures.
You must have attended all classes, or made up those missed with excused absence in order to be able to attend the credits.
Pre-exam
The pre-exam is available for those that fail one or both credits. The pre-exam covers the scope of the two credits. It consisted of multiple choice questions, 60% were needed in order to be admitted to the exam. The exam consists of 50 questions covering all topics covered throughout the course. The questions are like the credits, multiple-choice with one correct answer. It is worth it to look at your credit questions since there can be some similar ones.
Credit received after passing the exam.
The grade is taken from the exam.
