Residency Permit
You need a document legalizing your stay in Poland if you're a non-EU citizen, which could be a residence card or a student visa that you obtain in your native country at the Polish Embassy or Consulate.
It is advisable for all students to apply for a residency card, especially those who travel to Poland with visas. So, you can continue living in Poland after your visa expires and travel to other Schengen nations and your home country.

Copy of your passport
Copy of your visa
Confirmation of Admission and Proof of payment of studies that the University provided
Copy of medical insurance in Poland
Copy of rental contract
Documents confirming sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of living and return travel to the country of origin or residence (e.g. Bank statement from a Polish bank)
Confirmation you paid for the residence permit/card

It is best to apply as soon as possible because the application process takes several months. Typically, it takes at least 3 months to get your fingerprint appointment.
