This is a short course that usually takes place in the second semester of first year. Students will have four in-person practical classes, two in-person seminars and five lectures weekly.

In-person classes are very hands-on and in these classes you will learn the basics of first aid, emergency medical treatment and in some cases IV cannulation. The classes are conducted in the university’s state of the art simulation center with high-quality equipment and ATDs  that imitates real life emergency situations. It’s perhaps the most practical medical training you will receive in first year, seeing as the majority of the year consists of theoretical learning.
