This subject covers the basics of genetics, including human genetics in the past and present, patterns of inheritance, types of mutations, and the resulting diseases. The course consists of lectures and classes. Classes consist of presentations and small exercises at the end (no assessment).
For this course, it is important to pay attention to both lectures and classes, as they cover different topics. It might feel overwhelming when going through all the different mutations and the resulting diseases, but if you manage to get a good overview of them, the final exam should not be too hard.
Consist of 50 multiple choice question where you have to answer correctly on 30 of them to receive a credit. The exam covers all topics discussed throughout the semester.
Credit received after passing the exam.
The grade is taken from the exam.
